Connect technology, teams, vendors, and business requirements so the entire environment works toward the same outcome.
Technology solutions built for what's next.
Solluna Solutions helps organizations integrate technology, analyze complex environments, transition with confidence, and optimize the systems that keep business moving.
Assess architecture, dependencies, risk, performance, and the facts behind the problem before changing what works.
Plan and execute migrations, modernization, upgrades, and decommissioning with controlled change and business continuity in mind.
Improve reliability, reduce complexity, manage lifecycle costs, and identify practical opportunities for prevention and automation.
Technology is only part of the solution.
The right technology starts with understanding the business behind it.
BUSINESS FIRST
Start with the business outcome.Translate business objectives into technology decisions that account for customers, operations, risk, cost, dependencies, and long-term value.
TECHNICAL DEPTH
Know the technology behind the problem.Bring hands-on experience across enterprise communications, infrastructure, VoIP, SIP, contact centers, networking, architecture, modernization, and lifecycle operations.
OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Design for what happens in production.Apply experience from 24/7 environments where availability, customer impact, business continuity, vendor coordination, and recovery are part of every technical decision.
When technology gets complicated, experience matters.
OWN IT
Take responsibility and see it through.
ASK WHAT CHANGED
Understand before you change.
FOLLOW THE EVIDENCE
Let the facts guide the solution.
FIND THE ROOT CAUSE
Restoration isn't resolution.
PROTECT THE BUSINESS
Keep people and operations moving.
PREVENT IT
Look for trends before they become outages.
Built in the field. Proven in production.
Real-world experience solving complex technology problems when the stakes are high.
ENGINEERING FOR RESILIENCE
BRP, RespOrg, PRI-to-SIP evolution, multi-carrier routing, recovery architecture, and follow-the-sun thinking.

Knowing when not to buy the $2M solution — and using upgrade, licensing, and maintenance economics to make better decisions.
READ THE CASE STUDY →PREVENT. DIAGNOSE. IMPROVE.
Ask what changed, follow the evidence, act on recurring patterns, and stay honest when a complex problem cannot be fully isolated.

From local circuit recovery and BRP procedures to multi-carrier SIP resiliency and geographically separated recovery, the work has been about keeping the business connected.
When customers, families, agents, or business operations depend on the system, technical decisions must account for service continuity, communication, risk, and real-world impact.

IT CONSULTING & STRATEGY
Connect strategy to execution.Evaluate business objectives, operational constraints, risk, cost, dependencies, and lifecycle considerations to define a practical technology path.
SYSTEMS ANALYSIS
Understand before you change.Map systems, integrations, dependencies, performance, failure points, requirements, and recent changes so decisions are based on evidence rather than assumptions.
SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE
Build for performance and failure.Develop architectures that balance performance, availability, recovery, security considerations, operational reality, scalability, and the cost of complexity.
TECHNOLOGY TRANSITION
Move change through production safely.Plan migrations, upgrades, transitions, and decommissioning around people, vendors, carriers, dependencies, maintenance windows, rollback, validation, and business continuity.
UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS
Bring deep communications expertise when it matters.Apply practical experience across enterprise voice, Avaya environments, SIP, VoIP, contact centers, carrier services, high availability, incident response, and lifecycle management.
OPTIMIZATION & AUTOMATION
Make the environment work better.Use operational patterns, preventative maintenance, root-cause discipline, process improvement, and automation opportunities to reduce recurring problems and improve long-term value.

Senior technical depth. Business judgment. Directly involved.
Ian Brown
Built in the field. Proven in production.
Ian Brown is a senior technology and unified communications leader with more than three decades of hands-on experience designing, operating, modernizing and transforming complex enterprise technology environments.
His career has been defined by the space between the business and the technology: working with business leaders, customers, end users, engineering teams, vendors and carriers to understand the real problem, make sound technical decisions, mitigate risk, and deliver an outcome the operation can depend on.
Ian brings a business-first approach to complex technology environments, combining technical depth with operational experience, risk mitigation, and sound business judgment. He looks beyond the immediate fix — considering customer impact, business continuity, operational risk, cost, vendor accountability, and long-term value before deciding what should change.
15+ YEARS SUPPORTING MILITARY ONESOURCE
For more than 15 years, Ian supported a large federal government contract providing technology and communications infrastructure for Military OneSource, a 24/7 service supporting military personnel and their families. His work included enterprise communications, contact-center systems, high-availability environments, incident response, resiliency, vendor management, and technology lifecycle initiatives.
AFL-CIO & AFFILIATED UNIONS
Ian provided telecommunications engineering and infrastructure support within the AFL-CIO environment, supporting enterprise voice and data communications, carrier services, troubleshooting, maintenance, vendor coordination, and multi-location operations for a national labor federation and its affiliated network.
From enterprise voice and contact centers to VoIP, SIP, networking, high-availability architecture, migrations, modernization and decommissioning, Ian has repeatedly stepped into situations where the answer was not obvious — taking ownership, asking what changed, following the evidence, finding the root cause, and protecting the business while the solution is delivered.
Industry certifications and technical training spanning enterprise telecommunications, unified communications, networking, systems integration, infrastructure and technology operations.
The right solution isn't always the biggest solution.
Good consulting is not about recommending the most expensive technology. It's about understanding the risk, cost, operational reality, and long-term value — then choosing what the business actually needs.
